City of Indio Celebrates Completion of Public Safety Campus
On November 20, 2024, the City of Indio and Tilden-Coil Constructors hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the new Public Safety Campus, a cutting-edge facility designed to enhance public safety operations in the region. Completed in October 2024, this 43,000-square-foot campus reflects the city’s commitment to innovation and community service.
The campus comprises three state-of-the-art buildings:
- Fire Station: A 13,500-square-foot facility equipped to support emergency response teams with modern infrastructure tailored to their needs.
- Dispatch Center: A 7,000-square-foot hub designed to ensure seamless communication and coordination during critical situations.
- Public Safety Service Building: Spanning 22,000 square feet, this building will serve as the cornerstone of public safety operations, providing a centralized space for community and administrative functions.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was followed by guided tours of the campus, allowing attendees to explore its advanced features and learn how the facility is designed to meet the city’s evolving safety needs. From the fire station’s modern equipment to the dispatch center’s robust technology, each element of the campus prioritizes efficiency, resilience, and the well-being of first responders and the community they serve.
Tilden-Coil Constructors is honored to have contributed to this vital project, which embodies the values of safety, innovation, and service. The new Public Safety Campus will not only support those who protect and serve but also stand as a lasting investment in the City of Indio’s future.
We extend our gratitude to the City of Indio and Holt Architecture for their collaboration and dedication to making this project a reality. Together, we’ve built a space that will serve as a beacon of safety and innovation for years to come.
