New Design-Build Project at Crafton Hills College
We are excited to announce our latest Design-Build project in partnership with SGH Architects at Crafton Hills College. In collaboration with Crafton Hills College, AECOM, Kitchell, and San Bernardino Community College District, the new Instructional Building will be at the center of the campus and will house the new Tutoring Center and Honors Lounge. The new 30,000 sf facility will provide space for general active learning classrooms and will be the home to the Visual Arts Program, including art studios, an art gallery, and supporting spaces. Being directly accessible to the Main Quad level, the Instructional Building will provide an opportunity to include student gatherings in both interior and exterior spaces and create a vibrant hub for student activity on campus.
Our integrated approach to Design-Build promotes true collaboration and teamwork through a unique management structure which incorporates principles of “Lean Project Delivery” to plan and construct the project. Our process allows for our team to efficiently incorporate valuable input from the client and end users to obtain the best tradeoff of aesthetic appeal and user functionality all within the target budget. In following San Bernardino Community College District’s high sustainability standards, this new Instructional Building aims for LEED Gold Certification.
