Overview
The 9/11 Memorial serves as a piece of history as well as a homage to those who lost their lives on that tragic day. The project consisted of a piece of steel from the Trade Center towers strewn between concrete depictions of those towers, site walls forming the Pentagon, and a divot in the ground filled with jagged rock of various colors, which memorialize each of the 3 areas affected by the events of 9/11. The Pentagon walls are studded with granite plaques depicting the timeline of events from the moment the flights departed through the moment the sun set, forever changing the world as we knew it. Tilden-Coil Constructors, our consultants, and contractors alike donated countless hours to ensure that this project was successful and would serve as something that we and the community of Loma Linda would be proud of for many years to come.
