Overview
Tilden-Coil Constructors was called on to serve the Riverside University Health System Moreno Valley Regional Medical Center Emergency Department. The objective was to accomplish mechanical system retrofits and bring negative pressure air to the emergency department to create another level of safety for staff to treat patients. . Scope included two new air handling units, one chiller, four exhaust fans, VFD’s (variable frequency drives,) structural steel platforms, steel mechanical screens and creating negative pressure environments in the emergency department, as well as three additional isolation treatment rooms. The interior renovations included new Dirtt aluminum glass partition walls, plumbing fixtures, fire alarm upgrades, exam room lights, HVAC ductwork, acoustical ceilings, casework, flooring, paint and wall protection throughout the twenty-nine-room emergency department.
