Mt. SAC Pedestrian Bridge Installation
The new pedestrian bridge connecting Parking Structure S (across Temple Ave.) to the Mt. SAC campus main pedestrian walkway. A new elevator and stair tower building is also being built to accompany the new Foothill Transit Center that is being built underneath the Pedestrian Bridge. The team recently completed a major milestone with the bridge steel pick. This required a full road closure of Temple Ave. between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am in order to not disrupt campus operations. Two separate picks took place for each of the sections of the bridge steel tub girders. Congratulations to the project team on reaching this milestone!
