On Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Jarrod Baumann, BIM Manager at Tilden-Coil Constructors will be presenting on Laser Scanning and Modeling for the AEC Industry. This AIA Chapter Event, has been submitted for 1.5 L.U.'s and will cover the latest in reality capture technology and the growing use of its practical uses by contractors, architects and owners.
Tilden-Coil has been utilizing Laser Scanning/3D modeling internally throughout their construction process for quite sometime now. More recently though, there is increased interest in utilizing laser scanning services by owners, architects, and other consultants to help keep design/construction on schedule by providing critical information to all stakeholders. The benefits obtained by the owner/design team are cost and time savings, but most importantly it helps keep the project moving forward and on schedule.
