Overview
The two-story Liberal Arts and DSPS (Disabled Students Program & Services) Building consolidates Liberal Arts classrooms, DSPS and faculty offices into one location. The building features multimedia labs, instructional classrooms and a computer lab equipped with assistive technology for more than 1,500 students campus-wide with disabilities that includes text-to-speech software, voice recognition software, and specialized keyboards. Maximum flexibility was created into the building (including technology, utilities, raceways and furniture). The new building is supported by 125 70-foot deep piers.
