Overview
The project includes the expansion of the Emergency Department at Parkview Community Hospital by adding 28 new beds, bringing the ER bed total to 41. In addition to adding new beds, the 18,650-sf single-story expansion will increase space for state-of-the-art medical equipment, computers, a central nurses station and new rooms for expectant mothers and patients.
A new 2,000 sf utility building will house the emergency generator/power and boilers which will service the newly expanded facility.
