Overview
This new facility consisted of three wood framed structures that house an administration building, a crisis service center and a residential facility for the County's newly branded Riverside University Health System. The Crisis Center provides crisis mental health interventions that assist in resolving immediate crisis needs, and includes laundry, shower, and nursing facilities. Behavioral Health selected the California Craftsman style to provide a "home like environment" complete with drought tolerant landscape design with tranquil and sustainable gardens and a meditation porch. This project is LEED certified and incorporated Building Information Modeling technologies to successfully coordinate the installation of the MEP systems.
